Comets with an A-L last name will be the Purple group and attend on Monday and Thursday. Comets with an M-Z last name will be the White group and attend on Tuesday and Friday. Wednesday is all remote. #ItsGreatToBeYoungAndAComet

Golf practice is cancelled this afternoon due to the potential for inclement weather. There will be signups and a parents meeting at the Harrison Park Pro Shop at 5PM today.

OHS Golfers and Parents: The golf team will have practice starting Monday, August 10th from 3:00-5:00 PM at Harrison Park. Bring your clubs. There will be a parents meeting at Harrison Park after practice from 5:00- 5:30 PM. Go to www.oakwoodathletics.com for more information.

This is a reminder that the Cross Country meeting is tomorrow at 10 AM in the football bleachers at Salt Fork High School. It is a great chance to improve as an individual athlete and contribute to the team.

Sports physicals are Saturday, August 1st in the OHS cafeteria from 1-3 PM. There are no walk-ins and you should have made an appointment. Make sure you have the Parental Consent Form and IHSA Physical form filled out before you get here. Forms are on OHS Facebook & Twitter.

There will be a Co-ed Cross Country informational meeting for anyone interested in joining the team this fall. The meeting will be on Tuesday, August 4th at 10 am in the Salt Fork football bleachers. Email Coach Surprenant (psurprenant@saltfork.org) if you have any questions.

Parents that signed a student up for a Sports Physical to be conducted August 1st must have the Parent Consent and IHSA Physical Form filled out before arriving for your appointment. The physicals will be done in the school cafeteria. Park in the east parking lot.

OHS Student-athletes: We have received guidance that athletes that have traveled outside of Illinois or Indiana will NOT be required to be COVID tested or quarantined for 14 days to attend athletic activities. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Due to continuing concerns over COVID-19, OHS will NOT be holding an official Prom this summer. We had reserved the July 16 date for a postponed event, but that is no longer our intention. We feel this is in the best interests of our students.

OHS Student-athletes: If you have traveled outside of Illinois or Indiana you will not be allowed to attend athletic activities until you self quarantine for 14 days from the time of your return or you provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

We have not received approval to transition into Stage 2 Return to Play. We will continue following our stage 1 guidelines for June 29th-July 3rd. You will still be in your groups.
